I must say this is pretty fucked up... I look forward to this party all year, as I'm sure many other people do as well. When Goa Gil parties turn into private exclusive events, it's just one more nail in the coffin of the psytrance scene. If the party is private, then why would it be advertised on his site in the first place? I cannot support a scene in which people are turned away because they are not "hooked up". Will we now have bouncers at the doors of the party who will determine who is allowed to enter based on their age/sex/outfit/etc.? I'm surprised that Gil would support this, and if so, then what does this say about the current state of the psytrace scene?

Maybe i'll see you at the Birthday Bash in October (if i can find a ticket....)
